Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Imam Buchori, S.T.
Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Imam Buchori is a professor at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University. He graduated from the Urban and Regional Planning undergraduate program (ITB) in 1993, obtained a doctorate in Geomatics for Spatial Planning from the University of Vechta, Germany in 2005, and was inaugurated as a professor at Diponegoro University on June 1, 2014. His expertise is in geomatics applications for urban and regional planning. He served as the Head of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning in 2008-2012, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering in 2011-2015, and Dean of the Diponegoro University Vocational School in 2016. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Accreditation Council of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT) Indonesia (2021-2026) and Chair of the Professors Council of Diponegoro University (2025-2030). He has also held several positions in the Indonesian Planning Schools Association (Asosiasi Sekolah Perencanaan Indonesia/ASPI), namely: Vice Chair (2009-2011), Chair (2011-2013), and Advisor (2013-2019). As a researcher, he has published many articles in journals and conferences.
